Wheels and Wings
 The 5th annual "Wheels & Wings" event in Downtown Ebensburg will take place on Thursday evening, June 25, 2009, from 5pm-10pm, once again in conjunction with Johnstown's Thunder in the Valley Motorcycle rally! This car, truck and motorcycle show, combined with a wing-off, brings thousands to Downtown Ebensburg each year. The event is held along North Center Street, in Memorial Park (next to old jail) and along adjacent streets. Show vehicles will be parked in paved lots throughout town, there will be live music by the P.T. Cruiser Band, and 14 vendors will serve up their best wings. Additional food items and children's activities will also be available. Bring the kids to take a ride on the giant inflatable slide! The wing-off and vehicle registration will begin at 5pm. The car show will run from 6pm-8pm with awards around 8:30pm. Trophies will be awarded to the overall top 50 cars and 25 bikes, and there will be a Best of Show for both cars and bikes. Registration is $5 and all vehicles should enter via the First National Bank parking lot to register , 111 West High Street. The P.T. Cruiser Band will play from 6:00pm-9:30pm. The event ends at 10pm. There will be no pre-registration.
